Your Responsibility

To get your site live, you will need to purchase a domain name and email service. This is separate from the website itself and is the one cost your organization is responsible for.

We will walk you through exactly what to buy and where. Most organizations spend approximately $60 for the first 3 years, which works out to about $20 per year.

We will guide you through the process so there are no surprises.

A Note on Timing

We build these sites as our workload allows, as a service to our communities. We do not have a guaranteed turnaround time. Once your application is approved, we will be in touch to schedule your project and give you an estimated start date.

Buddy Love Dog Rescue

Buddy Love is a foster-based dog rescue dedicated to saving dogs and finding them a second chance at a happy life. They came to us as a registered 501(c)(3) with no website and no way for people to find them online. We built them a full custom WordPress site with adoption inquiries, volunteer and foster signups, and a clean way to showcase the dogs in their care.

PawPlacer Integration

Buddy Love uses PawPlacer to manage their rescue operations. We connected their website directly to PawPlacer so every dog listed in their system automatically appears on the site. No uploads, no copy-paste, no touching the website. When a dog gets adopted, it comes off the site on its own.

Who Qualifies

The program is designed for organizations that need a presence but do not yet have one.

We ask that every applicant meets the following requirements before applying. We review each application individually and reach out if we have questions.

Registered 501(c)(3) Organization Your organization must be a registered nonprofit under IRS code 501(c)(3). You will be required to submit your IRS determination letter as proof of registration.

No Existing Website This program is for organizations that do not currently have a website. If you have a site but need it redesigned, please visit our web design services page instead.

Based or Operating in the United States We are currently accepting applications from registered nonprofits operating anywhere in the United States.

Able to Purchase Domain and Email Your organization must be able to cover the cost of domain and email services, approximately $60 for the first 3 years. We will guide you through the setup.

Submit Your Application

Complete the application below. Tell us about your organization, your mission, and why a website would help the people you serve.

Application Review

We review your application and verify your 501(c)(3) status. We will reach out within 2 to 4 weeks with a decision and any follow-up questions.

Onboarding and Design

Once approved, we schedule a short onboarding call to understand your brand, goals, and content. Then we get to work.

Launch

We hand off a live website your team can be proud of. We will walk you through how to update it and answer any questions you have.

A word on timelines: We build nonprofit sites around our existing client commitments, as part of our service to the community. We do not have a guaranteed start date at the time of approval. We will give you an honest estimate once we can see where your project fits in our schedule.

The website design and development is completely free. The only cost your organization is responsible for is the domain name and email service, which runs approximately $60 for the first 3 years. We will guide you through purchasing both.
We aim to respond to all applications within 2 to 4 weeks. If we need additional information, we will reach out by email. Please make sure the email address you provide is one you check regularly.
We build nonprofit sites around our existing client work, as a service to our community. We cannot guarantee a specific start date at the time of approval. Once we review your project and check our schedule, we will give you an honest estimated start date. We do not want to promise something we cannot deliver.
This program is specifically for IRS-registered 501(c)(3) organizations. If your organization is not yet formally registered, we encourage you to go through the registration process first. We are happy to answer questions about next steps by email.
This program is reserved for organizations that do not yet have a website. If you have an existing site that needs improvement, please visit our web design services page. We offer competitive pricing and would love to work with you.
We typically build up to 5 pages as part of this program. That usually covers a home page, about page, programs or services, a way to get involved or donate, and a contact page. We will talk through what makes sense for your specific organization during onboarding.
Yes. We build on WordPress, which is designed to be managed without technical knowledge. After launch, we walk you through the basics so your team can update text, photos, and content on your own. If you need ongoing support down the road, we can talk through what that looks like.
