We Test Every Tool Here Before It Touches a Client Site

Before Tigreaux recommends a plugin or feature to a client, we test it here first. Ashley Reviews It All is our own live WordPress site, where new tools and ideas get tried in a real setting. If something breaks, it breaks here before it ever reaches you.

It’s also Ashley’s real blog, and that part is entirely genuine. Ashley has strong opinions about everything she buys, and friends and family have known this for years. Now it has a home online. Across 13 review categories, every post comes from real personal experience, with a shopping link, a disclosure on how the product was obtained, and a score built from multiple inputs.

The site works on two levels: a real Tigreaux build in a live environment, and an honest review blog that Ashley actually runs. Both are genuine.

If I’m recommending a plugin or feature to a client, it’s because I’ve already run it on my own site for months. This is where that happens first.

Where Tigreaux Tests What It Builds

Every feature on this site was built to work the right way. There are 13 review categories, each with its own setup. A beauty review looks different from a tech review or a restaurant visit, and each type collects the details that matter most for that product.

Those details add up to a score. The star rating on every review comes from the real inputs Ashley fills in when she writes the post, so it reflects an actual evaluation rather than a number picked at the end. Readers can sort by category, rating, and disclosure type without the page reloading, and every product has a direct shopping link with FTC disclosure built in.

When a client asks Tigreaux “can you build that?” this site is usually part of the answer.

What Was Built
Custom Post Types Per Category
Each of the 13 review categories has its own setup with fields made for that type of product. A beauty review captures different details than a tech review or a restaurant visit.
Calculated Review Scoring
Star ratings are built automatically from multiple scored fields filled in at publish time. The score reflects the real review, not a number chosen at the end.
Ajax Category Filtering
Readers can filter all reviews by category, star rating, and disclosure type without the page reloading.
Affiliate Link Integration
Every review includes a “Shop It” link tied to an affiliate program or direct product URL, tracked and rendered per post.
Purchase vs. PR Disclosure
Each post shows whether the product was self-purchased or sent by a brand. It’s built into the post template and follows FTC guidelines automatically.
SEO, Speed & Ongoing Testing
Built for speed and search from day one. Actively used to test new plugins and tools before they go anywhere near a client site.
